STARDUST CULTIVATION
What are your main objectives and values as a Cannabis farm, and how do they
influence your farming practices?
Our most important objective is to provide the most flavorful experience for the person
who is enjoying our products, terps are the most important factor in anything we grow. We want
to be of value to the community that once was prevalent in the medical days. We want to bring
back the vibes of art style strains, flavor and get away from the mass produced strains with zero
terps driven by cali mega corporations. We create all of our own strains to keep the northwest
on the forefront of flavor as it was in the past
Can you describe your cultivation process, including soil management, pest control,
and harvesting methods?
We utilize 15 gallon pots of organic matters soil, various custom compost teas weekly.
We feel the large soil volume helps us maintain perfect moisture levels and gives them enough
food to last throughout the whole flower process. The majority of the water our plants receive is
plain water no added fertilizers!
For pest control we utilize various predatory mites and nematodes, helps us remain pest
free with minimal spraying. For clones and smaller plants we utilize lost coast plant therapy but
switch to predatory mites once they gain some size.
Harvesting is a crucial process, we hang plants on hangers so they never touch a bin or
get laid on anything. Minimal touching of the flowers as we remove most of the big fan leaves,
this allows us to have a product that is touched as little as possible
How do you ensure the quality and consistency of your cannabis products from seed to harvest?
Working with organic matters soil really helps us maintain consistent products. Their soil
is the best any of us on the stardust team have ever used. Its always consistent and helps us
produce some of the most flavorful cannabis! We have assembled a team of cannabis growing
veterans with a wealth of knowledge which helps us overcome an obstacle we may encounter!
We are team people!
What steps do you take to ensure sustainability and minimize environmental impact in your operations?
We try to respect mother earth as we are all lifeforms on this spinning rock and would
like to treat it with care! All of our rolling tables are made with recycled materials and repurposed
to fit our needs! We also utilize led lighting to reduce our electrical usage, using soil also
eliminates us needing to add any additional fertilizers.
